OPPO is gearing up to expand its Reno 15 lineup with the upcoming launch of the new Reno 15C. After giving a first look at the Reno 15 series event, the company is building more excitement as fresh leaks share some of the phone’s key specs. Reno 15C would be an entry-level phone designed to offer a stylish look, smooth performance and a reliable day-to-day experience.

According to a recent leak from Digital Chat Station, the Reno 15C core specs have been uncovered. Based on the leak, the Reno 15C will feature a 6.59 inch LTPS OLED flat panel with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor will be used to power the smartphone.
Leaked information suggests that the Reno 15C will have a 50MP camera on its front, as well as three cameras on its rear. The rear camera system is said to consist of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. A known tipster, Bald Panda, also indicates that the cameras could utilize the following sensors: the Sony LYT-600 for the main camera, the IMX355 for the ultrawide camera, and the JN5 manufactured by Samsung for the telephoto camera

As per the leak, the Reno 15C is expected to offer 80W wired fast charging though battery capacity is still unknown. It is said to include a short focus optical fingerprint sensor for secure authentication. Look wise, the smartphone closely echoes the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, maintaining their glossy rear finish but incorporating a slight adjustment to the camera arrangement. The LED flash has reportedly been relocated to the bottom of the camera module, which gives the Reno 15C a subtle yet distinctive visual touch compared to its siblings.
Oppo is expected to debut the Reno 15C in three colors: Aurora Blue, College Blue and Starlight Bow. Oppo Reno 15C will likely combine the SoC with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, possibly based on UFS 3.1. The company has not yet disclosed an official launch date, but sources hint that Reno 15C will debut in China sometime during December of this year. Since the device is called the entry-level choice by the company, pricing is likely to be lower than the standard Reno 15.
