Samsung launched the Galaxy A36 earlier this year and is now preparing to expand the A series with the launch of A37. The phone recently showed up on Geekbench with model SM-A376B, which is believed to be the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G, giving us an early idea of its main features. The A37 firmware was also found on Samsung’s servers, and even though it does not reveal much, the Geekbench results do confirm the processor inside the phone.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G scored 1158 on the single-core benchmark and 3401 on the multicore benchmark while running Android 16 with 5.08GB of usable memory, most likely advertised as 6GB. The results of the benchmark also show that the device includes an Octa core processor with a 4+4 processor consisting of four high-performance cores that are rated for 2.75GHz and four power efficient cores that can operate up to 2.05GHz. These findings point to the possibility that this phone will use Samsung’s Exynos 1480 chipset.

Since it is easy to spoof Geekbench, if this information proves accurate, it may indicate a strategic change for Samsung as the brand seems to be increasing the use of its in-house processors in the Galaxy A series. Earlier this year, Samsung released the Galaxy A36 5G powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and the upcoming model is expected to take its place in the lineup. Details about the Samsung Galaxy A37 remain scarce, and we will have to wait for more information to know what features the phone will offer.
The official launch and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G have not been announced by Samsung yet, but it is expected to be released in spring 2026.
