Poco, a Xiaomi subsidiary recognized for providing high performance, affordable smartphones, is back in the headlines with new leaks. The highly anticipated Poco F8 series is set to be officially unveiled worldwide on November 26 at a launch event in Bali, Indonesia.
Earlier, a tipster shared the full specs of the Poco F8 Ultra and has now revealed details on the smaller Poco F8 Pro. While Poco officially outlined some of the F8 Pro’s features, including the processor, battery, and screen size, the new leak elaborates on the camera system and other hardware of the device. According to tipster, the Poco F8 Pro will arrive with a 6.59 inch flat AMOLED display using LTPS technology, boasting Full-HD+ resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone will feature LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage.
In the camera department of the Poco F8 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP primary rear sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide shooter. For selfies, the phone is expected to have a 20MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is expected to launch in three different color variants: Black, Blue, and Silver.
In a recent social media post, Poco confirmed that the F8 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the F8 Pro will feature the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Speculated additional specifications are said to include support for 100W fast charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP69 water and dust resistance, a metal frame, and audio sounds tuned by Bose. The new device will reportedly run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and weigh 199 grams.
