Motorola is set to expand its smartphone lineup in Pakistan with the Edge 70 Fusion, targeting the competitive upper mid-range segment. The new model is expected to offer a few interesting specs to the local market, including a high-refresh-rate AMOLED panel and a large-capacity battery. According to the initial local report, Motorola has partnered with CoreTECH Pakistan for the phone’s arrival in the country, with the launch expected shortly.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1272 x 2772 pixels resolution. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset which supports 5G connectivity, while the camera setup will have a dual 50MP main camera and a 50MP front camera.
Battery capacity is one of the major differences between regional versions of the Edge 70 Fusion. The 7,000mAh battery version is associated with the India market, while another version uses a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. Both versions support 68W wired charging. For the Pakistan launch, the exact battery configuration should therefore be confirmed at the official launch.
The phone could probably offer IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance to provide extra safety from water and dust. Also, the phone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock for biometric security and it will be available in PANTONE Blue Surf, PANTONE Silhouette, and PANTONE Sporting Green colors.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is set to launch in Pakistan in one day, with the company expected to announce its local availability shortly. The device is expected to be priced at Rs. 139,999 for the 12GB ram and 256GB storage variant . The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is emerging as a strong contender against phones like the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, Galaxy A37 5G and Vivo V80 Lite 5G in Pakistan, which are available in Pakistan at similar price range.
