Honor Power 2 with 10,080mAh Monster Battery Launching in the First Week of January

Honor is preparing to launch its next smartphone, the Honor Power 2, in China, expanding its Power series. The company confirmed the upcoming release on social media, presenting the device as a premium midrange follow-up to the original Honor Power.

Early teasers hint at upgrades and a massive battery, generating excitement ahead of the official launch. Following this, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared key specifications of the phone on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. Here are the leaked details of the Honor Power 2.

HONOR Power 2 Specs & Features

According to leaks, the Honor Power 2 will come with a 6.79 inch flat LTPS display featuring a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with peak HDR brightness reportedly reaching up to 8,000 nits. 

The Honor Power 2 is set to bring a significant design update, moving away from the traditional square camera module. The rear now resembles the iPhone 17 Pro Max, featuring a wider lens setup with a prominent telephoto sensor. In terms of cameras, the device is reported to include a 16MP front camera and a dual rear setup with a 50MP main sensor (f/1.88) and a 5MP secondary camera.

As per leaks, the Honor Power 2 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor. A standout feature of the Honor Power 2 is its massive battery, reportedly housing a 10,080mAh capacity with support for fast charging using an 80W charger. The company states that the Honor Power 2’s battery can deliver up to 20.3 hours of continuous screen usage, around 22 hours of short-video playback, and a maximum of 14.2 hours of gaming on a single charge.

Remarkably, the phone measures just 7.98mm in thickness despite its large battery, weighs 216 grams, and features metal frames that enhance its overall build quality. The device is expected to come with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Honor Power 2 Variants, Price, and Availability

The upcoming Honor Power 2 is set to launch in China on January 5, with the event starting at 7:30 PM local time (5:00 PM IST). Teaser posters reveal the smartphone will be available in Rising Sun orange, Magic Night black, and Snow white colors. The Honor Power 2 is expected to come in two storage variants: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB.

Following its launch in China, the Honor Power 2 is expected to make its way to Pakistan, though the company has yet to confirm the local release. The 12GB/256GB variant is expected to be priced at Rs. 113,499/-, while the 12GB/512GB model will cost around Rs. 127,599/-.
