OPPO has officially announced a price hike for two of its most popular A-series models, including the Oppo A5i and Oppo A5x, with a price hike of up to Rs. 1,000. According to a price adjustment notice sent to all dealers, the company has informed both the dealers and customers to take note of the updated rates, which are now effective across Pakistan starting December 15th, 2025. OPPO A5i & OPPO A5x Updated Prices After Price Hike
The Oppo A5i (4GB+128GB) and Oppo A5x (4GB+64GB) are currently priced at Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively. After the price hike of Rs. 1,000, Oppo A5i price will jump to Rs. 32,999, and the Oppo A5x will cost you Rs. 30,999. These new prices will take effect from December 15th.
Oppo A5i and A5x Specs & Features
Oppo A5i and Oppo A5x both come with a 6.67 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels, offering clear and bright visuals. Despite sharing the same name, both devices rear cameras are different. Oppo A5i features an 8MP camera and the Oppo A5x has a 32MP rear camera, while both have the same 5MP front camera for selfies.
Inside, both phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processors. Oppo A5i is built on a 6nm chip, and Oppo A5x is built on an 11nm chip. Battery capacity also differs, Oppo A5i having a 5100mAh battery and the Oppo A5x having a larger 6000mAh battery.
Oppo A5i and A5x Price Hike Reason
OPPO stated that the recent price hike is due to the higher memory costs and rising import expenses. The global market is currently facing a memory shortage, which has caused memory component prices to rise. OPPO’s revised prices will officially take effect on December 15. Until then, customers can still buy these smartphones at their previous rates.
