Unboxing:
Poco has launched its budget-friendly smartphone Poco M3 in Pakistan and here is the exclusive Poco M3 unboxing & first look impressions. Poco M3 features a stunning look, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 6000 mAh battery. Now, let’s start revealing the box contents that include user manuals, soft case, SIM ejector tool and there is a 22.5 watts charger with Type-C cable.
First Look:
First impressions of Poco M3 was good. Concerning the overall design, it looks like a premium smartphone. Poco M3 has triple cameras on the backside, and on the right of the cameras, there is a branding of POCO, although the smartphone is built with plastic material, but there is a texture on the back that looks like a leather effect that helps in protecting the smartphone from the scratches.
On the right side, it houses a fingerprint scanner on the power button with volume rockers and there is a SIM tray placed on the left side of the smartphone. On the top, there are an IR blaster and a 3.5 mm headphone jack located. The bottom side features a microphone, Type-C, and speaker grills.
Display:
Poco M3 screen size is 6.53 inches protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and supports 1080 x 2340 resolution. It comes with an IPS LCD panel, but it is outdated from the front because it has a notch screen display, and it would be better if it has a Dot-in display screen.
Camera:
Poco M3 camera in the first impression is looking better, but I have not thoroughly tested it yet. The camera options in the smartphone include a 48-megapixel mode, portrait mode, a macro shot, and Night mode. It also has a slow-mo option, but the slow-mo is not as good as considerable. You can’t take ultra-wide photos because it doesn’t have an ultra-wide lens. There is a lack of video-stabilization in the smartphone.
Performance and UI:
After the unboxing of the Poco M3, the overall experience with the smartphone was rich. But, it takes 1 to 2 seconds while launching the apps because of the chipset used in the Smartphone. Otherwise, there is no lag or issue found in the smartphone. Poco M3 is powered by Snapdragon 662 processor chipset that releases around a year ago. It runs Poco customized Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 OS based on Android 10.
Battery:
Further, Poco M3 houses a 6000 mAh massive battery, but you don’t need to worry that it will take too much time in charging because Poco M3 supports 18 watts fast charging. I have not tested it yet, but it could give you up to 3 days of battery backup on normal usage.
