Nothing launched its third smartphone yesterday in the Global market with the name of Nothing Phone 2a. The Nothing phone has a lot of Hype because of its unique design but Nothing Phone 2a is slightly changed from other Nothing devices. This smartphone is launched with a mid-range price tag.
The Nothing Phone 2a has a transparent back glass which reveals mobile’s internal component with three attractive Glyph LED Strips on the back. It also has two horizontal cameras with circular island housing.
The Nothing Phone 2a features Flat OLED 6.7-inch FHD+ resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness, while the fingerprint of smartphone is also houses under display.
The Nothing Phone 2a is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro Octa-Core Processor which is quite enough to perform high end tasks and smooth gaming experienice. This phone has multiple variants of 8GB RAM / 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM / 256GB Storage, and 12GB RAM / 256GB Storage. Nothing Phone 2a OS 2.0 is based on Android 14 with official confirmation to get three years of OS updates and four years of security patches.
The Nothing Phone 2a has a Dual camera setup, a 50MP main lens supporting OIS, and a 50 MP Ultra-wide camera to capture a whole group in one frame. The camera has an UltraXDR, Motion Capture, Night Mode, Action Mode, and Portrait Optimizer. The 32MP punch-hole front camera is best for video calling and snaps.
Nothing uses a 5000mAh long-lasting battery with 45W fast charging which estimates charging time of the phone from 0% to 100% within 40 minutes and Type-C charging port. 5G connectivity is also available which speeds up your internet.
The Nothing Phone hasn’t been officially launched in Pakistan although it is possible to get their mobile imported from another country via relevant mobile phone dealer while the custom duty with PTA tax will be applied on Import which will make mobile phone price quite expensive. The expected price of Nothing Phone 2a in Pakistan is Rs.129,999/- (Excl. Taxes) for 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage variant.
